ncBc supports missions. Please join us in the support of the worldwide persecuted church — especially in the “10 / 40 window.” Our members support native missionaries in North Africa and Asia. Generally, it is with these persecuted churches that we most desire to identify.
We are committed to the prayerful and financial support of the following organizations that share in our desires regarding persecuted churches.
Judy Sperou, ncBc Missions Director
Gospel for Asia
Our support for GFA and its individual missionaries began with a reading of “Revolution in World Missions” by GFA founder K.P. Yohannan. We found ourselves especially excited about the prospect of supporting the training and sending out of native missionaries to reach their own people with the Gospel. Each church member supports one or more missionaries with prayer and finances. Visit www.gfa.org.
Open Doors
Open Doors is an international non-profit ministry which supports and strengthens persecuted Christians in over 60 countries worldwide (including development bases). Outreach includes Bible and Christian literature distribution, leadership training and assistance. In addition, this group supports Christian community development, a prayer and presence ministry, and advocacy for the persecuted. Visit www.opendoorsusa.org.
Voice of the Martyrs
Many in ncBc have read “Tortured for Christ” by founder Richard Wurmbrand and now receive the VOM monthly newsletter. We all recently read the “Restricted Nations” books by VOM for China, Iran, India and North Korea to gain an understanding of the history of Christianity and of persecution in each country. Several of us were able to attend a VOM meeting with Koreans who have been imprisoned for their faith. We support them with letters, prayers and finances.

Consider joining us in the support of these organizations and their members.
IDOP: Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church
Finally, as an individual and with your church, please support the persecuted church by joining each November in the International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church.
Blessed are you when people insult you and persecute you, and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of Me. Rejoice and be glad, for your reward in heaven is great; for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.
– Jesus, Matthew 5.11-12
